This Ethernet TCP/IP network module is from the Modicon M340 series, which is a line of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). It comes with 4 RJ45 10/100Mbps connections and has a current draw of 555mA at 3.3V DC, operating with an internal power supply. Built for durability and high performance, this module incorporates the latest advanced technology. Its communication services include bandwidth management, data editing via PC terminal, FDR server, rack viewer, SNMP network administration, Modbus TCP I/O scanning and messaging, Ethernet/IP I/O scanning and messaging, and an integrated 4-port switch, among others. 

The BMXNOC0401 product has an IP20 rating and weighs 0.2 kg. It is best for applications in industries such as process automation, renewable energy, water treatment, cement, manufacturing, infrastructure, and machinery. Certified by CE, ODVA, and UL, it adheres to UL 508, EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2, and EN 61010-2-201 standards. 

This module is fully compatible with Modicon M340 PLCs when used with a standard BMXP341000 processor or performance processors like the BMXP3420102, BMXP3420302, BMXP3420102CL, and BMXP3420302CL. It comes in two package types: PCE and SO2. The compact Modicon M340 provides flexibility and integrated functionality in a small form factor, offering plug-and-play solutions for both Schneider Electric and third-party devices in process environments.
